Is Odds96 Legal in India? / India

Is Odds96 legal in India? Start with the national rules.

Do not treat Odds96 real-money gaming as legally available in India. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games, and the implementing rules took effect on 1 May 2026. An overseas licence, an INR wallet or a working website does not override that framework.

What changed in the national framework

The government’s published explanation of the 2025 Act and 2026 Rules describes a nationwide prohibition on online money games. It covers money games based on chance, skill or a mixture. The framework also prohibits advertising, promotion and facilitation, and bars banks and payment systems from processing related transactions.

The government explanation of the Online Gaming Rules states the rules commenced on 1 May 2026. Read the Act published by MeitY for the statutory provisions. These sources take priority over old articles that describe only state-specific restrictions.

An old claim that an offshore operator accepts Indian players is therefore not an adequate answer today. Technical access and legal permission are different matters. Neither a payment logo nor a new download establishes an exemption.

Offshore licensing and Indian permission

ODDS96’s published July 2026 terms identify QUANTO Ltd., a Belize-incorporated company, as the operator. They describe an Anjouan gambling licence. That is an overseas operator claim, not an Indian authorisation for online money gaming.

Older pages can name Breakout Group B.V. and Curaçao instead. Corporate or licence history must not be mixed with the current statement. The current documents also contain a licence-number spelling difference between the body and footer; a registry match is needed before certifying the exact identifier.

Use the Anjouan public register to check the exact corporate entity and authorised domain. A registry link is a verification route, not proof that this information domain shares the operator’s licence. This site does not claim to operate the casino.

Free demos are a different model

A free demonstration with no deposit, no paid stake and no monetary prize differs from an online money game. The game demos on this site use virtual credits that cannot be withdrawn. We do not sell demo credits, accept wagers or award cash prizes.

That distinction depends on the actual model. Adding a cash-out prize, tradable asset or paid stake can change the analysis. A label saying “demo” cannot disguise a money game. The statutory framework provides classification mechanisms for games and services.

Use Aviator, Mines and Chicken Road to understand mechanics through non-cash play where the external demo is available. Provider restrictions and game-session availability still apply.

Existing accounts, records and unresolved balances

If you already have an ODDS96 account, preserve your account history and payment records. Ask the operator for the lawful closure, refund or balance-resolution process. Do not make a new deposit or wager to unlock funds.

For a missing transfer, retain the operator request ID and the bank or blockchain reference. Use the withdrawal guide and deposit-record guide to separate account processing from payment receipt. If the issue requires a complaint, request the formal route and a written response.

Do not use an agent, another person’s account or a crypto substitution to evade a restriction. Contact the relevant bank or payment provider about your own existing transaction, and seek qualified local advice for a specific legal dispute.
